Dalmarnock Primary embraced STEM across the school over the last couple of months and we have loved seeing and hearing about their progress through their STEM leader and over social media.
One of the schools major successes has been the introduction of STEM afternoons every Friday. For this the school have developed 20 STEM challenge boxes that work around every class rom P1 - P7. They cover everything from chemistry to engineering and have been organised by levels.
The school also have an engineering club who are currently competing in the YESC 'Don't Waste a Drop' challenge and a Lego club for all future designers and builders. This has been supported by STEM Ambassador Mr Marten who has supported the children each week.
Dalmarnock Primary's amazing STEM work was even showcased at the Connecting Learning for All Conference last month in which every head of establishment across Glasgow was invited to see examples of good practice.
