Glasgow Film Theatre: STEM Day

The Glasgow Film Theatre are delighted to be working in partnership with STEM Glasgow and Developing the Young Workforce to host the first STEM themed day on Tuesday 5th of February. 
Each event will have a special introduction as well as additional learning resources. 

All screenings are FREE! Glasgow City Schools can apply for free buses with Class Connections. The Glasgow Film Theatre will provide you with a booking reference to redeem against your bus booking. 

For Primary Schools
Big Hero 6 (PG) mild threat, scary scenes

When Hiro, loses his brother in an accident he develops an unbreakable bond with his brothers robot Baymax. When a villan begins misusing sicence he teams up with a group of friends to stop him.

Science Fair (PG) mild bad language, drug references 
Date & Time: Tuesday 5th February 1pm 
With special introduction from Hannah Christie, STEM Development Officer.

The stakes are high at the 2017 International Science and Engineering Fair, where even the smallest infraction can cost the $75,000 ‘Best in Fair’ prize money. This documentary follows nine charismatic high school students from the US, Brazil and Germany as they enter this intense world of competition.
